Indian Ocean Defence & Security 2024 – Where AUKUS meets the QUAD

Energy Power Systems are excited to announce our participation as an exhibitor at IODS 2024. This prestigious event brings together industry leaders, policymakers, and experts to discuss and showcase the latest advancements in defence and security. As an exhibitor collaborating with Cat® and Westrac, we look forward to presenting our innovative solutions and engaging with key stakeholders to explore collaborative opportunities in the Marine and defence industry.

Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States are exploring opportunities in developing joint advanced military capabilities under the AUKUS partnership, including provision of nuclear-powered submarines and development of a range of advanced technologies across all facets of defence capability.

Meanwhile regional tensions and the growing strategic importance of the Indian Ocean are also bringing focus to Australia’s role within the Quad diplomatic partnership, between Australia, India, Japan and the United States.

Taking place at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from Wednesday 24 – Friday 26 July 2024, Indian Ocean Defence & Security 2024 (IODS 2024), , the geographic fulcrum between the UK, India, Japan and US, key Australian and international government, defence and industry leaders will explore the theme: Where AUKUS Meets The Quad.

The event will highlight challenges and opportunities for international engagement, and delve into how Australian industry may support diplomacy, defence and security policy in the region.

It is presented by Defence West and the Western Australian Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation with organiser, AMDA Foundation Limited. The Indian Ocean Defence & Security 2024 Conference program is developed with Defence West and the Perth USAsia Centre.

IODS 2024 is an industry-only trade event. The exposition and conference sessions are reserved for those with a professional, defence, governmental agency, business, academic, scientific, operational or response involvement in related government or industry sectors. The event is not open to the general public.
